Spring Formal Best Dressed: The Blurriest Formal

Ahhh Spring Formal was wonderful! If you remember it, there may be visions of dazzling lights and glitter (good luck getting that off) as well as your dance partner’s sweaty brow. More importantly, if you’re blanking on actual events of the night, I can fill you in (fuzzily, due to fleeting iPhone photo-ops) on some of the most outrageous, flambouyant and party-starting outfits. I didn’t see everyone, obviously; so if you wore a fabuche ensemble and I missed it, oops. Without further ado, SLCspeaks.com Fashion Section’s picks for best dressed at the 2012 Spring Formal. Bring on the glam!

Elissa James and Sura Hertzberg: Nothing more fly than white patent boots and leopard print suits.

Joe Faragher embraces the ferocity of a classic, clean-cut black suit with a twist of pink checker and white piping.

Remy Pelzer looked ferocious in fur and sequins, appropriately not giving a fuck.

Alyssa McIntyre looked smashing in her vintage, dusty peach chiffon bow dress.

Theodore Gifford did everything right mixing camo suspenders, a military jacket and an ostentatious tie. Comically fashionable.

Libby Bland was everything but in this lil’ ensemble. Loving the genderplay.

There we have it! Good work everyone for coming out in your best and shaking off conference work. Keep getting out of bed and showing off your swag for the home stretch!
