Downstage Drops The Ball
Downstage, one of SLC’s student led theatre companies, is hosting a ten-minute play festival this weekend. Student playwrights were given a New Year’s resolution and three days to write a play based on their given suggestion. Teams were selected at random, so it should be interesting to see what they have produced in less than two weeks.

SLAC’s Open Mic series continues with a new theme: Disney. Free Cupcakes are slated to appear, so get there on time. If the attendance is the same as the last one, be sure to dress accordingly, it’s a hot one.

SLC Art Fair
The Collective Arts Thinking Space (C.A.T.S.) and NKDfruits, a new architecture collective led by Tuyen Nguyen and Julia Beros, bring you a one-day festival showcasing student artwork at several venues on campus. Commencing with an architectural installation by NKDfruits and sound design by recent alumni Domonick Boyle near the pub, followed by an art exhibition curated by C.A.T.S. entitled “Gross” featuring new student works as well as archival photography from SLC students from the 1930’s through 1960’s. The night concludes with an concert in the Blue Room with sets from The So So Glos, Heeney, and Nicholas.
